Living in Longing

“Living in Longing” is a manifestation of an excerpt from Korean writer Soo-young Hwang:

"People who become silent when standing in front of the ocean are most likely thinking about things they miss and long for.

Not the longing that suddenly hits you when you look out the window for a moment, but the longing that sticks with you, that you can recall each single detail of for the rest of your life.

A devastating longing. A longing that you cannot swallow or spit out and must sit with and endure forever..."

“Living in Longing” exists in two forms: as a physical exhibition and as a handmade photobook.
